L'Ecurie adjoins the owners home and provides accommodation for 1 person or 2 people, or couples with a small person.
For people travelling on their own, we are happy to arrange transport from local aiports and act as tour guide showing you
local sights and places to eat. We are in a lovely quiet, calm location
so anyone wishing to relax and get away from everything to read, paint or finish that novel L'Ecurie is for you.

All bedlinen is supplied and extra pillows and blankets are available if required.
Towels for use at home are provided, but please bring your own towels for days at the beach or the splash pool.
Fresh bedlinen and towels will be supplied weekly for guests staying for more than 1 week.

A welcome pack is provided on arrival to enable guests to land and relax immediately with a glass of wine or a cup of tea! If you are arriving after the shops have closed then please let us know of anything you will need and we can shop for your first evening. Some shops in Gemozac are open on a Sunday morning, but the Supermarket is closed. The bread van visits La Maison du Puits every other day except Sunday and arrives between 9:30 and 11:00am, you will hear the horn when the van arrives. We have a basket full of information leaflets on different places to visit, also things to do for both adults and children. Parking is easy at the back of the house, so no long trips with luggage or shopping. Start day is usually Saturday, however should you want to stay a few days mid week on your journey further south or simply for a weekend please contact us as we are happy to be flexible where we can. Similarly if you are looking for a base to house hunt in the area and would like long or short term let, then please ask for availability and prices. The property will be ready for a 4pm check in and we ask that you leave by 10am on check out day, however, we can be flexible where possible. We do not allow pets as we have a few of our own. Smoking is not acceptable inside L'Ecurie du Puits.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The shooting range was brilliant where else can you sit and ponder, pick cherries, sip wine whilst your other half enjoys lying on the ground with full concentration ending in a real sense of achievement. The wine tasting and the French party were such fun. Some places had changed since y last visit, but the warm and welcoming hospitality remains ever pleasing. We have had a wonderful week. Everyday we have seen a lot, Royan, Saintes, Libourne, St Emilion, and so on, it was great.

We had a lovely long weekend with brilliant weather! The games and basketball area is great.
Visited the zoo at La Palmyre and were impressed with the animal. Enjoyed every minute - back next year.
